Wat is de CO2-footprint van Nederlands fruit?
Blonk Consultants heeft voor de Nederlandse fruitsector een carbon footprint tool ontwikkeld. De tool geeft fruittelers inzicht in de totale carbon footprint van zijn fruit en de bijdrage van de verschillende aspecten in het teeltproces hieraan. Daarnaast worden verbetermogelijkheden zichtbaar, zoals het overstappen naar elektrische werktuigen, opwekken van groene energie of het reduceren van kunstmestgebruik. De tool is opgezet in Excel en beschikbaar voor appels, peren, rode bessen, bramen, kersen en pruimen.
